A tough to beat combination: Fun and Educational. Wow!
Prekindergartener's are in constant motion and they love to make noise. So we use what is natural for them and channel it for learning while they’re having fun!
Zoo-phonics is a natural for a great activity you can do together any time. The secret is the program's exclusive Animal Letters and the Body Signals or Movements that go with them! It's fun because you are just showing them animals and doing appropriate animal "wiggles."
As they’re playing, your child will learn through games and activities with their new Zoo-phonics Animal Friends, which make up the shapes of the letters of the alphabet. Each Animal Friend is shown in the shape of a particular lowercase letter. The Animal’s name corresponds to the letter's sound; for example, Allie Alligator (for "a").
Zoo-phonics locks letter shapes and sounds into your child’s memory through body movements called "Signals." Research has shown that "when the body moves, the brain remembers." The Zoo-phonics program fully involves your child’s eyes, ears, mouth and body as they learn phonemic awareness, the alphabet and how to read.
Learning is easy, exciting, and best of all it’s fun, with Zoo-phonics.
We start off with Zoo Phonics and then when the children know the letter shapes and sounds we add Sing Spell Read and Write. By the end of K4 your child will be able to decode and read at about a 2nd grade level. Most children will be reading at a 3rd grade level.
