Welcome to AFR Childcare, My name is Alice have been operating an in home childcare for 12 years. I am married to a wonderful man Bob. My family is very supportive to me and my business, they have allowed other families to come into our home with open arms. In fact My 39 yr.old daughter works with me to provide a unique multi generational atmoshere and Early Childhood Education Program. While creating this website I hope that you will learn more about my childcare business.

I have an Associates degree in Child Development and a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Eduation. I have been caring for children for over 35 years, 11 of which has been here in New Mexico. I have 4 adult children and many grandchildren. My husband is retired Air Force , so we have access to Kirtland Air Force Base and the Air Force Hospital.

My second caregiver is my daughter.

She has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her specialty is in reading instruction. She graduated from the Northwest Nannies Institute in 1987. She also graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a physical therapist technician , so that she could follow a Physical Therapists instructions ,if we had children with special needs . She is very active and loves teaching .She has been caring for and educating children for more than 12 years.

Our learning center was built on the back of our home. It is set up for Active Learning and Exploration.
