In our journey we will be singing songs, dancing, doing art projects, cutting and pasting, watching and performing puppet shows, using hands on manipulatives, playing card games , active games, and going on treasure hunts and other adventures.

We provide a multisensory whole language program encorporated with extensive phonics. Our instruction is designed to reach every avenue to the brain. We address every child's learning style in order to make learning to read fun and almost effortless.


We use " Zoo Phonics " to learn the letter shapes,sounds, and short vowel words. Then we use "Sing Spell Read & Write" to learn letter blends, Long Vowels, Special Sounds, and harder phonics groups such as eigh. We use " Picture Me Reading" for all to master all dolch sight words through the 3rd grade list.


We tailor instructional methods to fit your child. If the above formula is not working for your child, then we use the method that was working and use it through out all reading instruction. In any instance all children will learn to read
After going through step 21, every child regardless of age will be reading at a 2nd grade level. After step 36 every child regardless of age will be reading at an end of 3rd grade level.
