Can Special Needs Children Be Potty Trained ?
We have strategies that break potty training into small parts and help children who are apprehensive about potty training feel more in control. Children who for whatever reason have a developmental level younger than 2 years might have problems actualy learning to go to the potty on their own, however they may be able to become potty schedule trained where we can put them on during that schedule and save diapers.

An article from the Toronto Daily Star newspaper indicates this parent had tremendous success with her developmentally delayed special needs daughter, where no other potty had worked.

The potty training of AUTISTIC CHILDREN (and other related disorders) has been only somewhat successful ...HOWEVER.... We have a A Put-IN MUSICAL ELEMENT that can be placed under TRAINING PANTS The "music" lets us know right away that the child has "gone".....and we are able to teach the association of being "wet" with the need to go to the bathroom or potty, depending on the childs age.

My daughter is visually impaired and she just loves her Tinkle Toonz--the music made all the diference in the world! She's now potty trained totally but still loves to use it. Your idea is absolutely wonderful--thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

I bought 2 Tinkle Toonz for my twin girls and they were both trained in 3 days! I can't believe it. They still use the potties rather than go on the big toilet (its more fun) but do you know how happy I am to have no more dirty diapers?
I'm actually starting to enjoy life again! AND I'm saving over $200/month in diaper costs!

"What a terrific idea - using music as a reward!
We recognize that every child is a gift from God and has been made in His image. As such, we foster and cultivate an environment of love and care for each other regardless of our unique differences.

Our inclusive environment benafits both typically developing children as well as those with special needs.

Our goal is for each child to know they are important and loved. We value each child’s unique personality, character, and individuality.

We acknowledge and encourage each child’s contribution to each other and the class. We believe in creating an environment where children develop a sense of trust and belonging.

We are dedicated to providing a warm and inviting impression that allows children to learn and grow at their own pace whether they need support for delayed development or accelerated learning for gifted students.

Children are not only encouraged to explore materials in the classroom but also their relationships with peers and staff.

We recognize the abilities of each child as unique and special, and build on each child’s strengths.

We have been licensed since January of 1993 and we are a Four Star.

We focus on where the children are developmentally and not just on their chronological ages. In this way, our child development professionals promote growth of children at their own pace by providing opportunities for play and learning geared towards the individual child.

We teach from a flexible curriculum and include a combination of indoor and outdoor activities to help each child move from their current skill level to the next.

We serve children between the ages of 2 weeks and 6 years old. We allow your child's therapists to provide speech/language, physical and occupational therapy on-site.
