Accelerated Learning & Multiple Language Instruction

Children learn better when they move their bodies.

• We use Sign Language to help children learn vocabulary in English, Mandarin, and Spanish.

• We also use short videos with native speakers who teach the vocabulary and sentences to children on the videos through direct instruction and then games, songs, and actions.

*During the video the children participate in the games, songs, and actions.

 *Then when the children learn the games well enough we play them after the video. The videos build upon themselves exspanding the childs vocabulary.

• We also use the vocabulary during the day in other activities such as

using the sign for wash your hands, saying the English phrase: wash your hands, and saying the Spanish phrase: lavarse los manos.

• The children also sign, use the vocabulary and sing the songs in Mandarin.

Play & Learn Chinese with Mei Mei Series 1 - 8

Periodicaly we allow them to watch Muzzy. The children love him.

Muzzy is a Space Moster who speaks chinese.
The children folllow along a story that is entirely in mandarin.

We also have Dora the Explora who uses Mandarin and a little English .
