Accelerated Learning & Multiple Language Instruction
The main classroom is divided into Learning Centers.The Science Center is off to the left side along with the Writing, Art, and Sensory centers. If you walk straight in you will see the Math and Manipulative center. Behind that is the Block Center and Kitchen & Health Center. Music, Dramatic Play, and Block centers.
We also use Learning Centers outside, the the children get plenty of exercise and outdoor time wile being protected from the sun.
Our vegetable and fruit garden, extends from the front yard to the side, and then into the backyard. The children love to water the plants and watch them grow and then eat what they have been helping to grow.
In the backyard we have a large shaded playground that has swings, slides, climbers, rocking toys, spinning toys, balls, digging toys, a three sided easel, wagons, and tricycles. We have a cement path that goes around to the front yard, where older kids are allowed to ride with supervision of course.
