Infant Toddler room

A smaller classroom is off to the side of the main classroom. When we have infants and young toddlers, this room is used as an infant / Toddler room. It has 2 cribs, a soft play side, balls, and a ball pit. Every center that is available in the main classroom is available in the Infant / Young Toddler Classroom. When infants are on the floor in the room, walkers are not. When infants are brought into the main school area, the walkers use the centers.

Infants and toddlers go into the large classroom to paint as well as use other art materials, use sensory centers, interact with supervision with older kids, as well as eat.

We also use Learning Centers outside, the the children get plenty of exercise and outdoor time wile being protected from the sun.

Our vegetable and fruit garden, extends from the front yard to the side, and then into the backyard. The children love to water the plants and watch them grow and then eat what they have been helping to grow.

In the backyard we have a large shaded playground that has swings, slides, climbers, rocking toys, spinning toys, balls, digging toys, a three sided easel, wagons, and tricycles. We have a cement path that goes around to the front yard, where older kids are allowed to ride with supervision of course.
